Stefan Zumthor - Head of All-Lines & Business Development

Stefan Zumthor has headed the All-Lines & Business Development division since June 2026 and is a member of the Executive Board. In this role, he is responsible for V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a’s development into an all-lines insurer and is actively driving implementation of the V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a 2030 strategy.

Before joining V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a, Stefan Zumthor held executive positions at KPMG and PwC. As Head of Strategic Initiatives at V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a, he has successfully implemented numerous strategic projects and company-wide initiatives.

Stefan Zumthor is a Swiss Certified Accountant. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Newcastle (UK) and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Fribourg. He is married and has one son.

In the coming years, V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a will focus specifically on its role as an all-lines insurer. The basis for this is the further development of our product range, outstanding service and new, integrated insurance solutions. To be successful in this endeavour, we must understand our customers’ needs and offer appropriate solutions.
