Stefan Zumthor - Head of Finance (CFO)

Born in 1984, Stefan Zumthor has many years of experience in the finance and insurance sectors. His career took him from PwC to KPMG, where he most recently held the position of Director of Deal Advisory, M&A Financial Services.

In 2024, he joined V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a and took over as Head of Strategic Initiatives. A member of the Executive Board since June 2026, he heads the All-Lines & Business Development division. As of 1 October 2026, he will take on the role of CFO and head of the Finance division. Until a successor is appointed, he will continue to lead the All-Lines & Business Development division on an interim basis.

Stefan Zumthor is a Swiss Certified Accountant. He holds a master’s degree in International Financial Analysis from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Fribourg.
