Health is one of the foundations of success in sport, alongside dedication and talent. If I hadn’t stayed healthy, I wouldn’t have been able to have a shot at becoming wrestling champion. And the health of my wife and our children is extremely important to me as a husband and father. That’s why I’m working with V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a to encourage people in Switzerland to be healthier and fitter. They are a perfect fit for each other: one man, one woman; she’s fast, he’s strong; he’s the king of hearts in a uniquely Swiss sport, she’s the queen of hearts in a discipline that’s popular worldwide. Both are Bernese through and through, both know what it’s like to stumble just before the finish line, accept setbacks, pick yourself up again and fight on until you’re finally successful.
