All individuals aged 18 and over who are permanently domiciled in Switzerland are eligible to participate. Only one entry per person is permitted. Participation in a competition is free of charge and does not entail any obligation to purchase. Staff of the Visana Group, of its cooperating partners, and of its competition-related partners are not eligible to participate. Information required from participants must be provided truthfully and in full. Automatically generated entries and technical manipulations will be excluded from the competition. Visana Services AG reserves the right to exclude participants in the event of improper participation (including the provision of false information) and to award the prizes to other participants.
Participation in a competition is not dependent on placing any order that entails payment. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. A competition runs until the announced date. The winners will be notified in writing. Prizes will not be paid out in cash. Visana is not responsible for any tax obligations that may arise from winning a prize.
By participating in a competition, you agree that the Visana Group may use your data for marketing purposes, and possibly send you attractive insurance offers and information. Data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act. No data is passed on to third parties outside the Visana Group, apart from its cooperating partners and/or competition-related partners. Participants are entitled to prohibit Visana Services AG from further use of their address data by sending written notification, at any time, to: Visana, Marketing, Weltpoststrasse 19, 3000 Bern 16, emarketing@visana.ch. Visana Services AG is entitled to publish names (and, where applicable, photos) of winners on its websites and in other media, such as its customer magazine, for example.
Visana respects your privacy and has given top priority to protection thereof in all its online activities. This means that we undertake to ensure that our handling of the information you provide is done carefully and responsibly at all times.
We process the personal data collected by us in connection with a competition primarily for the purpose of running the respective competition, contacting the winners and sending them prizes. We also use your data for marketing purposes, to the extent described above. Your data is not passed on to any unauthorised third parties, or made available for use by such parties.

By submitting or posting your photos, you agree that your rights to these photos are transferred to Visana, insofar as permissible, and you authorise us to publish your works and use them in any other way. At the same time, by uploading the images, you declare that you are not violating any third-party rights – copyright or personality rights in particular. Specifically, this means that you have obtained consent from the depicted person for publication and that either you are the creator of the works, or the creator has ceded the image rights to you. If minors are depicted, you are obliged to obtain consent from the holders of parental responsibility. Submissions that are racist, pornographic, otherwise offensive, discriminatory or of a similar nature, are expressly excluded. Visana can exclude submissions from a competition without giving reasons. Visana’s decision on admission or exclusion is final.
Prize draws take place behind closed doors at the headquarters of Visana Services AG in Bern. Winners are personally notified via a means of communication chosen by Visana. If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period of time, Visana is entitled to draw a replacement winner. If, due to reasons for which the winner is responsible, a prize cannot be delivered after the winner has been notified, the prize is forfeited without replacement. If a prize cannot be delivered for reasons beyond Visana’s control, Visana is entitled to provide an equivalent replacement prize. Prizes are delivered free of charge within Switzerland. If claiming a prize incurs costs, these shall be borne by the winner. Any taxation of a prize is the winner’s responsibility. It is not possible to pay out prizes in cash or to issue a replacement prize at the winner’s request. Entitlement to prizes cannot be transferred or sold. Visana is not liable for any legal or material defects in prizes. No correspondence will be entered into regarding a competition or the awarding of prizes. The judges’ decision is final. Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
Even if we announce competitions via our Meta profiles, or if participation is exclusively open to Meta users, please note that Meta has nothing to do with the competitions and does not organise, sponsor or otherwise support them in any way. Visana Challenge participants shall take their personal state of health into consideration and decide for themselves whether to complete the challenge or individual elements thereof.
