There is strong demand for modern meeting rooms and workspaces that provide greater professional flexibility in the heart of the Swiss capital. This is exactly what Visana offers with its new co-working space at Bärenplatz. Less than five minutes from the main railway station and opposite the Federal Palace, it has plenty of space and state-of-the-art infrastructure for meetings and workshops, providing the ideal working environment. “The new co-working concept at Bärenplatz mirrors our own workplace health management,” explains Patrizio Bühlmann. After several months of conversion and renovation work, the Bärenplatz property has become a state-of-the-art workplace that meets modern-day requirements while still maintaining its historical charm. “It is very important to us, as a health insurer, that we also set an example here,” says Bühlmann, who is a member of Visana’s Executive Board.
Promoting a healthy work culture
Flexible working hours and working from home have become the norm since the COVID pandemic, if not before. However, new ways of working also bring new challenges. So it is not enough to just focus on ergonomically designed workspaces, but teamwork, creativity, dealing with personal responsibility and a new type of staff management all have to be taken into account too. With this in mind, Visana creates ideal working conditions by means of a co-working concept geared to flexibility and health.
Setting new standards
In Visana’s co-working space, there are 28 individual workspaces, 13 meeting rooms and an event room with top-of-the-range infrastructure, all waiting to be used. The central location enables focused work and personal networking, offers space to retreat and, above all, provides for professional flexibility. “At Visana, we practise and promote flexible working in a very conscious and targeted manner. With the co-working space, we are now making this expertise available to our customers and anyone else who is interested,” Patrizio Bühlmann is pleased to report. At Bärenplatz, Visana and its partner FlexOffice are thus setting new standards for modern and healthy working.
Open days
During the opening week from the 4 to 11 November 2022, Visana’s new co-working space will be open to interested parties and co-working newbies, for viewings and free trial sessions – quite in keeping with the Visana motto ‘close to the people’. In future, it will take just a few mouse clicks to book individual spaces, workshop infrastructure or meeting rooms via FlexOffice. This makes it all the more useful for anyone having to juggle multiple appointments in the city. The Visana co-working space’s proximity to the Federal Palace and Bern railway station makes it ideal for accommodating individual needs and spontaneous appointments or meetings.
