The FOPH-approved product will be offered to residents of the Jura Arc region in the cantons of Bern, Jura and Neuchâtel from 1 January 2024. The option of switching to the VIVA health plan will be available from the 1 October to 30 November 2023. The individual premiums will be announced once the authorities’ official communication has been received.

The healthcare organisation Réseau de l’Arc, initiated by Visana, Swiss Medical Network and the Canton of Bern, provides VIVA members with all healthcare services from a single source, ranging from preventive and basic care provided by a general practitioner, through to hospital and home care services. This enables personalised care of patients and better coordination among service providers, so as to improve the efficiency of medical care.
