By becoming a member of the Swiss Insurance Association (SIA), Visana is positioning itself clearly within the Swiss private insurance sector. “Joining the association is a logical step in our strategic evolution into an all-lines insurer,” says Angelo Eggli, CEO of the insurance group Visana.
The SIA represents the political and economic interests of private insurers, strives to ensure reliable framework conditions and raises the industry’s visibility. The insurance industry is one of Switzerland’s most productive sectors and among the best generators of added value in the country, employing around 50,000 staff.
In the social health insurance segment, Visana remains a member of prio.swiss, which unites the interests of health insurers under one roof, furthers the development of tariff structures and actively promotes high-quality care.
