  2. You approach the person concerned, inform them about the V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a Help service and obtain their consent for participation.

  3. Once you have contacted us, we send you our detailed report form, on which you can describe the situation.

  4. Our expert speaks confidentially with the person concerned and analyses the situation comprehensively.

  5. Our specialists hold internal discussions to develop specific possible courses of action.

  6. The person concerned is given a personal report containing recommended action and, if appropriate, any relevant professionals’ contact details.

The service is available to all companies that have taken out collective daily allowance (DA) insurance with V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a. The staff concerned must still be able to work; if not, case management is responsible.

V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a Help is a preventive measure for people who can still work but are in onerous situations. Case management only steps in when a person no longer has the capacity to work and helps them return to work.

Typical situations include: mental strain, such as stress or signs of burnout, workplace conflicts, bullying, difficulties following illness or an accident, or recurring short-term absences. In general, you can contact us at any time if managers and HR staff are unsure how to deal with someone in a difficult situation.

The service is free of charge for companies with collective daily allowance (DA) insurance from V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a. It includes the assessment, case conference and recommendations for action. Any subsequent costs that the recommended measures entail are settled separately.

Absolute confidentiality is guaranteed. All information relating to your staff is treated discreetly and confidentially. As the employer, you only receive confirmation that the process has been completed. You do not receive any details about the content of the assessment.

Once we have received the report form, we contact the person concerned within a few days. The entire process, from assessment to recommendations for action, usually takes two to three weeks.

Yes, participation is voluntary. V⁠i⁠s⁠a⁠n⁠a Help services cannot be provided without the consent of the person concerned.
