The cost of medication prescribed by a doctor is usually covered by basic insurance, as long as the medication is on the list of pharmaceutical specialities (LS) and the deductible has already been used up. You then only pay the retention fee.
No, ordering is only possible with a doctor’s prescription. Zur Rose is a prescription-only mail-order pharmacy, specialising in the supply of prescription medication.
For non-refrigerated medication, you can arrange a second delivery appointment free of charge with the postal service, or collect the parcel from your nearest post office by using the collection slip.
If the medication needs to be kept refrigerated, a delivery appointment will be arranged with you in advance. To make a delivery appointment, please call the Zur Rose customer service on 0800 711 222. If you are not at home, ask someone else to receive the medication on your behalf. This is important, as otherwise the medication is returned to the pharmacy and disposed of at your expense.
