Medi+ is a digital service that combines various features to aid the management and consumption of medication. Medi+ is provided by Zur Rose Suisse Ltd. It is available free of charge to everyone who has Visana basic insurance. You will find comprehensive information about the service on the online pharmacy’s website.
You can activate Medi+ in the myVisana customer portal. You start the activation process by electronically consenting to the transfer of your personal details, and of data regarding invoiced medication, to Medi+. You are then directed to the Zur Rose website, where you can create a new account or connect to your existing account for the data transfer.
With Medi+, you benefit from the following services:
- better medication management thanks to an overview of your medication
- digital dose schedule with reminder functions
- creation and scanning of medication schedules with eMediplan
- digital requests for prescriptions and medication
- selection of generics when requesting prescriptions and medication
If you store your prescription with Zur Rose, you can also reorder medication directly online.

Anyone with Visana basic insurance can benefit from comprehensive medication-management features, provided in cooperation with Zur Rose.
Via myVisana, you can consent to the electronic transfer of master data and medication data to the online pharmacy.
During the first data transfer, medication data from submitted benefits statements for the past six months is transmitted, along with your current master data. Afterwards, medication data that has been processed through invoicing is sent to Zur Rose on a weekly basis.
The data is transferred via a secure encrypted connection, in accordance with data protection guidelines. You will find more information about this in the Zur Rose privacy policy.
